Taisho-machi is a main street in Taichu city, and a largest torii (a gate) of the Taichu shrine stands at the eastern end of the street where is a part of the Taichu park. Sakura-machi street, behind the Taichu station, runs arong the railway lines and is flourshing together with the banana market.
