Upper: The East Peak of Gokanzan which is the divide of several streams such as the Mokkakei Gorge and the Takkiri Gorge of east and the Dakusuikei River flowing to the west. This mount stands 3,424 meters high, through which runs the famous Gokan Pass from Musha, in the West, to Karenko-gai on the eastern coast. The Gokan Pass has lately become a course favoured by mountain hikers.
