The 15th night of the Spring Festival is the Lantern Festival, the first full moon day of the lunar yaer, also called "San Yuan Day"(上元日) in Taoism and connected with the "Official of Heaven" (天官), who is in charge of bestowing good fortune. The Lantern Festival marks the final end of all the New Yearʹs activities and is the last chance for enjoying the holiday before returning to work. In this day, the believers would offer sacrifices to the "Official of Heaven" for praying blessings.
