The Gao Chian(高錢) is a kind of yellow paper moneyin the shape of long narrow strip, also called ʹLong Moneyʹ(長錢). In the rirual of offering sacrifices to Tien Gong, two sugercanes on the both sides of the ʹtop tableʹ would be bound together over the table to shape an arch symbolizing the Heavenly Gate and the Gao Chian(or Long Money) would be attached on the sugarcanes as decorations to represent the heavenly army or to pray for the rapid promotion like the growth of the sugarcane.
