On the 13th day, all the communities of surnames will participate in the parade of "Welcoming the Dou Lamp"(Welcoming the Lamp for the Goddess of Big Dipper, 迎斗燈) around Keelung, which is led by the community in charge that year and followed with music bands. The parade begins in the afternoon and starts from Ching An Temple(慶安宮). Two hours later, the processions will return to the Temple to light the Dou Lamp. The Dou Lamp is a three-layer wooden lampstand with rice filled inside and a pair of swords, a scissor, a scale, a ruler and a mirror are inserted in rice with an oil lamp lighting up the mirror to symbolize the bright future and pray for longevity.
