普魯士人Rev. Karl Gutzlaff郭實獵牧師肖像。他在1832年受雇為英國東印度公司商船"Lord Amherst"號通譯，前往中國、日本與高麗沿海一帶尋找貿易機會，期間曾停靠在澎湖，亦曾航經台灣西部海岸。後來將此段經歷寫成《1831-1833 年中國沿海航行誌，附暹羅、高麗與琉球群島評述》Journal of the Three Voyages Along the Coast of China, 1831-1833, With Notices of Siam, Corea, and the Loo-Choo Islands, London: F. Westley and A. H. Davis, 1834一書。書中收錄有關於台灣之紀錄。
