史料原文/譯文It has been decades since the establishment of Bakuai Wireless Transmitter Station in 1944. The Japanese Government planned to make Taiwan a southbound air base, hence the establishment of Bakuai Aerodrome, Taoyuan Aerodrome, and Longtan Aerodrome, one after another. "Taoyuan Aviation Radio Transmitter-Receiver Station" was created for the purpose of aviation signs, radio communication, etc. Bakuai Radio Transmitter Station and Taoyuan Radio Transmitter Station, as one unit, held the control of airspace of Taiwan area at the time. Radio stations provided functions including navigation, weather broadcast, emergency rescue, general communication and military command. In 1996, "Taoyuan Aviation Radio Transmitter-Receiver Station" was taken over by Chunghwa Telecom, including radio station, Line Maintenance Center of Office of Telecommunications, Bade Service Center (Bakuai Transmitter Station), Toll Center, Danan Station, etc. The operation runs till date.
