桃園大廟口派出所

　　緊鄰桃園大廟景福宮東側中正路上的大廟口派出所，設立於明治36年（1903）。大正9年（1920），景福宮一帶進行市區改正，將「桃園保甲聯合會議所」與「警官派出所」合一，原派出所重建，於昭和2年（1927）落成，一樓為大廟口派出所，二樓是保甲聯合會議所。民國36年（1947）大廟口派出所合併桃園警察所為「景福分駐所」。

　　本棟為洋式磚造文化瓦二層式建築，木構架屋頂及RC樓板。目前屋頂已改變，外觀也更換磁磚，但歷史建築的立面格局仍存，內部亦保有原本裝修線腳，呈現當時之工匠技術。

　　桃園大廟口派出所位居市街發展的重要區位，民國106年（2017）公告登錄為歷史建築，見證從清代保甲制度到日治時期警察派出所制度的結合關係。

Located next to the east side of Jingfu Temple, the Police Station on Zhongzheng Rd. was completed in 1903. In 1920, the area around the Temple was re-planned and "Taoyuan Baojia United Conference Hall" and "Police Station" were merged. The old police station reconstructed and completed in 1927, with ground level being Damiaokou Police Station, and 1st floor as Baojia United Conference Hall. 1947, Damiaokou Police Station was merged into "Jingfu substation" with Taoyuan Police Station. The two-story brick building was built western style with Japanese tile roof, wooden structure and reinforced concrete floor. Though the roof is now renewed and building exterior ceramic tiled, the façade remains its historical structure, and the interior molding finds the technique of the time. Damiaokou Police Station takes up a key location in the development of the streets. In 2017 it is registered as historical building, witnessing the relation and combination between Baojia System in Qing Dynasty and the Police Station system in Japanese Colonial Period.
