　　隆泰為大溪蕭家產業，蕭家居住在此有數代之久，曾經營雜貨、布行等生意，其建築格局為四落二過水，頭落為辦公室，二落大廳後的房間由當家夫婦居住，其餘都是住家空間。牌樓立面以清水紅磚砌成三段式圓拱，圓形間柱上為仿多立克柱式，山牆兩側各有一隻小獅口啣綵帶，有「祥獅獻瑞」之意，屬於融合巴洛克、中國傳統動物、花草紋樣的折衷樣式，充分展現西風東漸的時代風格。

    The former grocery and cloth shop belongs to generations of Xiao family. With a four- luo, two-guoshuei layout, the first luo enclosure is the office, behind the second enclosure there is the room for the shop owner and his wife, with the rest for household use. This is a three- layered, red-bricked arched facade that imitated Greek's Doric Order, with both sides of the gable decorated with a lion cub's mouth holding colorful strings offering blessings; it exemplifies a unique blend of Eastern traditional animals and vegetation with Western's Baroque styles.
