Kenko為兩落一過水的規模，為土埆壁及磚牆混合構造。局部使用鋼筋混凝土補強。原屋主從事建築業，因此立面相當華麗精緻，以洗石子工法仿石雕，並採仿柯林斯式的西式柱頭（日治時期稱「白菜頭」）。山牆中央題名「Kenko」，可能意指「堅固」或「健康」，異國風情十足。

    "Kenko Shop Facade is built with both the unburnt sundried and red bricks, partially consolidated with reinforced concrete, with only two-luo, one-guoshuei layout. With the original owner in the architecture business, it has an eye-catching facade that applied washed granolithic, as well as imitating Greek's Corinthian Order (famous for its decorativeness). "Kenko" at the center of the gable likely refers to firmness or health."
