本物件描繪的是福爾摩沙船。此張版畫由Blondela所繪，Le Pagelet製版。收錄在《Le Pérouse航海地圖集》（Atlas du Voyage de la Pérouse）。這樣的小船僅能航行於臺灣沿岸。 法國海軍軍官拉彼魯茲（Galaup de La Pérouse ）1787年曾率領Boufsole與Aftrolabe號由馬尼拉往北航行到勘查加半島。在此次航行中，他的船隻曾在臺灣一帶停泊。此次的航行經歷後來寫成《The Voyage of La Pérouse, Round the World in the Years 1785-1788》一書（1798年英文版）。
